There is a drought of the word of God, which is why we continue to see murder and mayhem in the land. Founder LoAnna Warren has a passion for helping people overcome life challenges, with the goal to distribute Bibles throughout the city and pray for every home. The dates, times and people are different, but the ill effects of our society continue to plague our cities, thus the birth of the Peace for Chicago Project for Inner City Missions. These are times where people need to know that God loves them and that there is hope. Once the word of God is planted back in the hearts of the people, they will also learn how to love others and pursue peace.Read More
It is our mandate to distribute Bibles throughout the city of Chicago and to pray for every single home in the region.

Over the past few years, God has literally transformed the life of Inner City Missions founder, LoAnna Warren. Because of this, she has a passion for helping others through her teachings. Her books are sure to help bring healing and deliverance to your life!
We are spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ through the Word of God by distributing Bibles throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. By doing so, we expect to see extraordinary changes in people’s lives.
We believe that God's word and prayer has the power to change things. We believe that souls will be saved and lives will be transformed. Greater things are yet to come and be done in the inner city and surrounding areas!
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Scripture tells us that men should always pray and to pray without ceasing. In the book of Ezekiel, God looked for a man among the people to stand in the gap for the sake of the land. God was looking for someone to pray on behalf of the land for the sins of the people. Unfortunately, God could not find anyone to pray (Ezekiel 22). In this present time, we need to stand in the gap for our cities and pray.
LoAnna was raised in Chicago, IL in the infamous Cabrini Green projects on the north side of Chicago. When she reflects on that time, she experiences a wide range of emotions from laughter to sadness. For years, she often wondered how she survived. Thoughts about murder and mayhem caused by gangs, drugs, alcohol and gambling causes her smile to fade away, but there seemed to be something on the inside of her, an internal motivation and desire for more. Although she survived, she struggled emotionally and spiritually due to the effects of being raised without her father and the neighborhood where she lived.
Life’s journey literally had many twists and turns as she sought to seek the Lord with all of her heart, soul, mind and strength. In the midst of life’s ups and downs, there was something that never changed, LoAnna’s love for God remained intact. Over the past few years, God has literally transformed her life and blessed her beyond what she could ever ask or think. LoAnna has a passion for helping people overcome life challenges through prayer, encouragement, teaching and her writings. More recently, LoAnna has accepted a new assignment: Inner City Missions.
Beyond ministering healing and deliverance to people, and experiencing the manifestation of the glory of God, LoAnna’s God-given mandate is to ensure the word of the God (the Bible) is widely distributed because there is a drought in the land. The drought is not in money, clothes or life sustaining resources. There is a drought of the word of God, which is why we continue to see murder and mayhem in the land. From Cabrini Green until now, the situation is the same. The dates, times and people are different, but the ill effects of our society continue to plague our cities, thus the birth of the Peace for Chicago Project for Inner City Missions. These are times where people need to know that God loves them and that there is hope. Once the word of God is planted back in the hearts of the people, they will also learn how to love others and pursue peace.
